Alec earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2015 from Drexel University. He earned his bachelor's degree, with a major in Sports Management and Communication, from the University of Michigan in 2008. After graduation, Alec spent a year in finance before transitioning to a career in health care.
Alec has had extensive clinical experience working with an orthopedic and geriatric population in various settings including trauma, ICU, post-operative care, homecare and outpatient sports rehabilitation. He has also had the unique opportunity to work with patients with progressive neurological disorders such as Parkinson's disease. This led him to become LSVT BIG Certified, a treatment protocol designed to specifically address movement disorders that are common among patients with Parkinson's disease.
With a strong interest in both orthopedic and sports therapy as well as neurologic rehabilitation, Alec is an advocate for utilizing evidence-based research to guide his clinical practice toward quality, patient-centered care.
When not working, Alec enjoys spending time with friends and family, exercising and passionately routing for both Philadelphia and University of Michigan sports teams.
Alec is a native of Voorhees where he and his wife, Brooke, currently reside.
